UTTHAN: SSIP (Student Start-up & Innovation Program)

Our college became grantee in last phase (2021-22) of SSIP 1.0 policy (Govt. of Gujarat) where 30 lakhs were granted to the college for the innovation and start-up purpose. Our college successfully completed the 5 POCs (Proofs of Concept) projects in last one year 2022-23. Additionally, a Workshop on "Marketing Strategies for Agricultural Products to Empower Farmers as Entrepreneurs"  (2021) was organised to empower our students in the agriculture sector. UTTHAN is the SSIP cell of our college, where our college has been privileged again to be grantee and pre-incubator centre of Surat district area for SSIP 2.0 (2022-23) with the grant of 40 lakhs rupees for next 5 five years to work in the areas like innovation, start-up and patent filling.
