About SCOPE CEPT Examination

As part of the initiative of Government of Gujarat, SCOPE (Society for Creation of Opportunities through Proficiency in English) under the aegis of KCG (Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat) conducts internationally recognized English Language Proficiency Tests at regular intervals for the Undergraduate students. Government Science College,Vankal being a DEL Lab center organizes the CEPT (Cambridge English Placement Test), a test which assesses the proficiency of English Reading and Listening Skills. The CEPT test provides 6 levels- A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 in accordance with CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) and has been designed by Cambridge English Qualifications, UK. As the feedback from the students showes, the test not only assesses the proficiency level of the students it also encourages them to master English communication skills.
